That's a fantastic looking house i have a dillema now, i won 50,000 on a chance card last night now i don't know whether to move into that house i built that was 38,000 unfurnished or start going upwards on my bungalow

Yes she married the fireman this time. Well as far as moving goes some things to take into account. All the furniture gets sold including career reward objects. There's ways of getting around this like moving just one person out (have them find their own place with the computer or paper) and then have them move somewhere else and call up their spouse and move them in and have them take the rest of the family with them when they move in. This will keep the furniture in your old house but you still can't take it with you If your move the regular way and your stuff gets sold you will get the money for the furniture being sold, but since it's used and you have lived there for a while it will be devalued a good bit, whereas in the new place you move into you will have to buy new furniture at the normal retail prices. The only exception to this is artwork and sculptures which tend to hover at around the same value and may even slowly increase in value over time. Still, if you want more space or a different layout moving might be a good idea, particularly if you have the money.

I realised about the furniture part, does that mean unlike aspiration rewards you can't have another career reward if you leave one behind? Thing is i will have a lot of money to play with as far as refurnishing goes so that doesn't worry me, be a shame to lose the rewards though. I'll have about 20,000 of my own money left from buying it plus the money for the sale so i'm really tempted, if they want all these kids i need more room. But then if i did what you say maybe i can wait till at least Ben grows up so i can leave him there in a fully furnished house. My two bring in nearly 3,000 a day so the longer i stay the more money i will have to play with

If you move a whole family out you lose the career reward and and the only way to get it back is to quit your job and start over with it at the lower ranks and get promoted again. You can actually move and leave children behind as early as teenagers. They can get little teenager jobs and be self sufficient. I've actually heard of people who had households of even younger children without parents living with them. They walled the nanny in so she couldn't leave and as long as the nanny is there the social worker won't come. I think that at least one of the parents has to die to get that to happen though because if there's one adullt left and the rest are children, the adult won't move out and leave the chiildren behind.

I recognize that house, but I like what you did with it. And I didn't realize you could make the crib different colors DOH! I just found out from Chris you can have different colored lawn gnomes including an alien one. And apparently, kicking it is one of the fastest ways to get fun up.

Lawn gnomes ;D It took me a while to realise all the colour things you can do with a lot of the furniture, like sometimes they have different wood shades as well as fabrics. I wish there was more choice of bedding, some of it is really manky looking so i tend to use the same ones all the time I shall have to take some more pics and give you a tour of my house ;D

The bedding is a bit problematic at times. I either use that top of the line single bed or the mod or top of the line double bed because they give 6 energy. I like some of the others but feel it's ineffecient to use them.

Now for a guided tour around the Parker residence ;D Front of House. Side Back Lounge, this room is exactly as it was when i moved in size wise. Kitchen, has been extended out by about three squares. Master Bedroom, also been extended the same as the kitchen. Bathroom, the original bathroom was too small for a bath so i built this one, then i turned the old one into just a toilet and enlarged the deck slightly out back. Kids Rooms and Hallway, i was planning ahead when i did these and made it so i can easily put a staircase in to an upper floor Study, this room has Ben's favorite object in, the piano. If left to his own devices he always goes and plays it. He stood listening to Kim play the xylophone with his hands over his ears, obviously wasn't impressed with her musical skills ;D

Well she has to start somewhere. I like what you did with the place, kind of similar to what I did with the original residence for myself and Chris and all the kids. The kitchen has lots of space now in your place, should alleviate any complaining. I took some more shots of Blanche's place to give a better idea how it looks: The front from the outside: The first floor. Pretty much all of the east and west wings are empty with just $2 beige carpeting and $2 bamboo wallpaper (lol). The rooms that are done are the foyer, nursery, son's room, dining hall, kitchen, side garden and then above there on the next two floors is Blanche's penthouse stylle master bedroom complete with pseudo spirall stairs. The second floor. Not a lot going on up here except for Blanche's bedroom. The third floor. Again same situation pretty much just Blanche's bedroom is done on this level. Some closer shots of the foyer. I enhanced the first screenshot to show the detail better as it was kind of dark. I think the staircase is kind of the focal point of the room. That and the very high ceilings. They go three stories up without any other floor over them save the balconies. I should have taken some more shots of Blanche's penthouse suite. I gave her a fireplace with loveseat on the first floor on a carpet and private bath with a screen and a table and chair and mirror like a little powder room heh. I put one of those women on doors on it. If they work like they did in the first Sims and they do in the community lot then men won't be able to go through that door. But they have two bathrooms on the first floor. There's also a balcony outside and stairs that lead to the pool area out back. On the second floor is her bed and a hot tub (the one you buy that's above ground with the wood around it). I've started making my bathrooms two separate rooms, one for the toilet and one for the bathtub like the Japanese do (irl). This alleviates any complaining when one person needs to take a bath or bathe a baby and the other needs to use the toilet. You could also use one of those public style bathroom stalls and then because it's private the person using it won't complain if someone else comes in the room to bathe, but those things are so ugly I cant bring myself to put them in my house.

That's one of my favorite parts of the house. Actually if you sell the paintings, sculptures and vases and such you could probably get the price down another 20,000 ish. I guess I can upload this other house if you want it, but you'd probably have to marry both Patrizio and Consort like Blanche did if you want to be able to afford it.
