This is interesting, i've never seen arena before. When my sister got her first proper computer she bought daggerfall, when i got my first one i borrowed it, and gave it back years later when Morrowind came out ;D I loved daggerfall, played it loads so i'm really dissapointed i can't get it working on xp properly. I tried all the installers and stuff but it chrashes all the time I was so dissapointed with the first 'dungeon' i entered in morrowind. They are so small, i'd get lost for hours in a daggerfall one, sometimes i'd get in and turn right find the quest object immediately and get out, another time i'd go the other way and get completely lost I hope they decide to do something like this with daggerfall, that would make my day

There is also a word doc in the docs folder of the Arena directory folder.
It's very similar to how you can start up daggerfall in the command prompt.

Well i tried to get daggerfall running but it doesn't work It says the drive is incorrect and to make sure it is the same drive as it was installed from, so i changed it from C to D. Then it says daggerfall cannot be played from the cd please install it first. IT IS INSTALLED we shall just have to wait for bethsoft to do a daggerfall version like this.

But you do want to be in dos as it's a dos based game Are you opening it in the DOSBox window? or is it when you open run and type command that's giving you trouble? This is what i did. Open the DOSBox window then after the z type this: MOUNT C C:\ press enter type, C: press enter type, CD\ARENA press enter type, ARENA press enter and the game should start in the dosbox window.

Yeah. I wanted to be in dos... But not for the rest of the computers life. which It was stuck as. I couldnt exit dos and use windows again. I Figured out a fix tho.... It was a problem with EMM386, so I renamed Config.sys to config.xxx and autoexec.bat to autoexec.xxx and I am back on windows again. Glad it worked. Its a major pain with my system... It happened once before and I had to get it fixed by a technician, but Im glad I figured it out this time.
