Is it just me or does it seem to be off by a good bit? I have just about 1pm EST right about now (care of the official US Time website lol and the post time is off by 30 minutes.

Err yes! Cali and I have the adjustment set to something like 4.572 hours! (Yeah, I know, working to thousanths of a hour is a bit bonkers, we were just bored one day!) ;D I think there may have been an earthquake somewhere near Proboards! I always thought date lines worked in whole hours.

I think there are a few oddball places that have timezones that are set off by half hours. I want to say Australia maybe (can any Aussies confirm this?) But generally yes it should be whole hours. Anyhow 1 is Eastern Standard Time and 2 is Atlantic Standard time (East coast of Canada like Nova Scotia etc) and I'm pretty sure there is no time zone between those two.

My advice is just keep adding 0.1 until it's about right. That's what i did.

Becuase of this, they decided to set the National Time right between the two. So India is X hours and 30 minuets ahead of everyone to the east.
