Ow my head.......
I found out yesterday that unless some miracle occurs, I will lose my job in a week, as my employers are not getting jobs in and they haven't been paid for three months.
It seemed like a good idea to drink last night but several vividly weird dreams and one cracking hangover later I'm beginning to realise the folly of my ways.
Anyway on the plus side, I've got my pay-as-you go dialup working and a cup of earl grey and I'm slowly battering my head back into shape.
So. What did I miss?
[exit HWW stage left moaning pitifully and holding head in hands muttering something about 'the pain, the pain']

That's a real bummer about the job. Anything else on the horizon? What about the other jobs you were talking about before you took this one?

Sorry bout the head mate, if it's any consolation mines the same but without the drink  Also sorry about the job, sometimes i really wish people were more upfront they must have known they had problems before they took you on. It's not fair to you as you could have taken one of the others you were offered. It'll be great to have you back again though, if you check out those pics be warned it's scary, especially the 20ft bravo  |

Thanks guys, your sympathies most appreciated... no current ideas on what I'm going to do... just a bit annoyed that every time I seem to get my life sorted something else crops up. Doh! Now, why donkey chop? Er... here's a few other examples of how the word 'chop' could be use: "Chopsucker" "Chop-faced uncle-f*cker" "Your mother sucks chops in hell!" Basically, it's one of those strange phrases I've picked up over the years... I prefer my insults as creative and vulgar as possible. There are similar ones, such as 'fluff', whereby the second case above would become: "Chop-faced uncle-fluffer" etc. Yep, it's randomosity time. |

Bear in mind it's pay as you go dial up, so I have to watch it a bit, especially now I'm not sure about money and stuff...
I have to use my girlfriends laptop at the moment as I don't have a modem (didn't need a dialup modem with broadband). It's not the best laptop in the world so that puts me off a little!
Anyhow, it's my birthday on the 4th of may so maybe someone will be kind and buy me a shiny new 56k modem.
Want to hear the worst joke ever? It's something someone put on a star wars birthday card for one of my birthdays.

It's mostly a cost thing right now, plus the fact I'm on 6 month contracts for the accomodation. We probably won't stay here any longer than we have to and then we'll move again.. not much point getting into a long broadband contract when the future is so uncertain!
Not sure if we can get broadband here.. I can live without it (I've got most of the stuff I need now anyway, as long as no-one releases a must have mod for morrowind which is over 50mb or so).
