I am quite sure I am barking up the wrong tree here at this board, but what the hell. Are there any physique tutorials besides Neuman and Phyntoswasp's? I'm not sure that physiquing clothing with rigid vs deformable is the best way to go, or quite frankly, that Neuman knows what the hell he is doing very well. Phyntoswasp's seems well done, but he breezes over the most important crucial part and leaves a lot out.

This is me doing physique: I spent several hours yesterday and today physiquing and elf's bum and while I finally got it to work somewhat, not enough that the peanut gallery and nitpickers would be satisfied. I dunno maybe I'd have better luck with clothing. For some reason annoying some of the body parts would just randomly lose their physiqued data and all the green points would turn red and I had to start over many times. I may have done something to cause it but if I did I can't trace it to anything. Unless someone can come up with a GOOD tutorial I think I shall lay off of it for a bit except for minor stuff like shoes.

Also, there is a general (i.e. non-morrowind) biped and physiqueing tutorial (+quite a few others) in pdf format here: www.ogle.com/Classes/IVC/IVC_classes.htmLooks interesting. In combination with other tutorials, it may give you enough info to solve some problems. If you do get it sorted, maybe you could write your own tutorial (even if it's pieced together from other peoples with incorrect / vague information corrected). I'd be happy to proofread, pdf and host such a file if you (or anyone else) fancies having a bash at it. Come on chaps - who wants to be a modding hero? ;D

I sifted through the fist link from the ES Forum , but the only thing that would have been helpful is a physiquing tutorial for Quake that is no longer on the site that is linked there and I searched around Google and could not find any mirrors of it (all the links pointed to that same address that doesn't work anymore). I'll check out the second one though.

If I remeber right it has to be set to rigid, deformable is not compatable or something like that.
Physiqueing is usally a one shot deal, meaning you have to do it all at the same time. useally when you save and pick back up later it loses the physique and you have to start all over. This is a real pain especially when you are tring to get the verts at a workable wieght that looks good.
As for my wear abouts........I'v been awol from life......
also I used nueman tutorial from most of my physiqueing work, it seems to be on the level with every thing else I read.
