I noticed your reflection mapping tutorial as well, you might like to look at Thanos Tower, it has a very useful max tutorial explaining reflection, animated textures, particles and all that Edit: Fatigue

I think I'll stick woth my reflection method, though, it works, and unlike what the doubters over at the elderscrolls forums think, you CAN use and reflect coloured images, buwahahaha. And yes, fatigue. Me thinks its about bedtime.

If you ever play around with physiqued meshes, try and get a reflection map onto them - I can't I've tried BB, shirts, armour, everything physiqued seems to reject a reflection map

Hmmmm. I KNOW I saw someone post a screenshot of armour ingame that they had refection - sure, it looked worse than the plasticwrapped spelle effects, but they did it. It was somewhere on the UBB version of beth's forums, and was, oh, I think 2 years ago, though I cannot remember if it was physiqued, I only remember he was complaining about the look in the CS forum.
