I hope someone can help me out.... I am having a problem with the editor. I created a new "residence" in Balmora.... in the editor the doors work and look just fine, but when I go in-game the doors are not there at all!! Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Hope you don't mind that I moved it to a more appropriate spot!
...anyway, could you tell us in more detail how you set it all up? ...have you enabled the plugin (happens to the best of us once in a while!)?

I do have the plug in enabled... lol
Um the best way to describe it is ... It's just a door going into the mod from Balmora, and a door leading out of the mod into Balmora, with the door markers set up. I hope this helps. (im somewhat new to the editor, this is my second mod)
thanks

Ok, I'm just gonna double check this; make sure this is done:
-the door going inside has a spawn marker* inside -the door going outside has a spawn marker outside
*spawn marker= aka door marker aka purple thingy!
...next, do you have any other plugins enabled?

You got it... that is exactly how it looks in the editor.
I have quite a few plugins enabled... could there be a conflict? I can post a list if that would help.

You don't need to post a list yet; ok, first of all, where did you put the house/door?
...next, can you actualy SEE the entire house ingame (all the windows, corners, lil' wooden things sticking out of roof...etc)?

Well I would try running just the house with no other mods as a test. If the doors appear, then you know it's got to be a conflict with another mod.

The house/door is right between the pawnbroker and the wall that runs around the edge of the town (balmora).
I can see all the house exterior except a small portion of the foundation, the hill behind it intersects it slightly.

Well, then I would suggest doing what MO said; also note that you might have used a door that has a script on it, for example a normal-looking house Hlaalu stronghold door...

I have had dissapearing doors on mods before, sometimes just reloading the game fixes it. If you only tested it only once it might be worth a try. It's an odd example but it happened with the house in the background of my dancing death. Yet next time i loaded it was back. That still cracks me up

I tried runing the plug-in by itself with just the master plugins loaded... no effect. I also tried redoing the doors in the editor... the doors showed up, so I saved the game and reloaded it... THEY WERE GONE AGAIN!!!! AHHHHH!!!! Anyway... This sounds like a problem with Morrowind itself, would reinstalling help? I must have a black cloud over my head...lol

You could try reinstalling, i must say it's not something i've heard of happening much, very strange if you do reinstall and you have the expansions make sure to do it in this order. Morrowind Tribunal Bloodmoon Bloodmoon patch If you don't have them or just have tribunal make sure to use the relevant patch after the last one. If you already know all this then sorry for stating the obvious ;D btw like the avatar
