I'm on a posting spree today!
Just wondered if anybody else noticed this:
When I alter a NIF, then view it in the CS, the new NIF shows up immediately, no need to close then reopen the CS. However, when I alter a texture I have to close CS and reload for the changes to show up.
Is this normal, and is there anyway of changing this behaviour (like a line in morrowind.ini)?

No that's normal and i've never found a way around it, it's a right pain in the I wish that sceneimmerse wasn't so dark because that would be an easier way of checking a texture

I get the same issue...sadly, there's nothing I've found that can be done about it...and the CS will not let you open multiple instances of it either...

But you can!
Just add AllowMultipleEditors=1 to your Morrowind.ini I put it after AllowYesToAll=1
And Voila! CS all over the place!

... That's awesome! EDIT: How do you know this command? ...is there a list anywhere? ...I'd love to find a detailed guide about the ini...

I think I saw it in a screenshot that was part of somebody's tutorial. I find that the Enchanted Editor is more useful than a 2nd CS, mainly due the fact that the CS usually eats all 512mb of ram Plus it loads in a fraction the time.

Resize the window....
That will change the textures to the new form..
