I just checked and I got the file just fine thanks! I packaged my lot and it was 12 MB! Will have to put that on the ftp I guess, but first I need to place it in a neighborhood and move everyone but one person out and kill that person off heh. Otherwise if you move the family out it sells all the furniture back so they have those assets when they move.

I didn't realise you could move part of a family. One thing i do want to know is how you did that basement I'm still very groggy today, i nearly left the house without my glasses on this morning, i'm long sighted so didn't really notice indoors but i'm sure i would have when i got outside, i hope so anyway, dread to think what i would have driven like without them

Yeah that's because i did some of the inside, you might notice there's two fridges in the kitchen, i find that if two sims want food it's a pain having one fridge when one's hungry and another wants a bottle for the baby not to mention when they leave the baby laying in front of the fridge ;D

There's 2 different methods for doing a basement: thesims2.ea.com/exchange/story_detail.php?asset_id=503thesims2.ea.com/exchange/story_detail.php?asset_id=664I used the first, but I think the second sounds easier, but since you already have a foundation in that house you may need to go with the first. Once you figure out what the correct height is, it's not bad. The house is lovely by the way. Lots of space, which I love. Actually Blanche is close to affording it, if she hadn't gone nuts with buying up clothes at the mall after she got married again she probably could already afford it, but a few days of old Consort collecting his pension, or better yet, kicking the bucket and getting his insurance money and she should be able to afford it. I'll probably do a basement for it at some point. I'm also going to do an attic as the roof is quite high and lots of room up there. And I think I may make the space above the second floor where there is no third floor (since it's smaller) a deck/large balcony accessible from the 3rd floor.

I sort of did it to have three floors but didn't put the staircase in yet, you can see it has a fireplace already.
I didn't realise she'd married Consort, so maybe the old sod isn't such a miserable so and so after all, all he ever does in my game is barge in and have a go at everybody. Although he hasn't done it since Cali hit him back ;D

He tried it with Kay too while she was pregnant and she let him have it as well. Must be those hormones. :laugh4: I'm going to have him move out with the teens (you can move one or more people out by using the paper or the computer to "find own place") and then leave the teens in their own place and move him back in. I don't think you can move teens out on their own but you can have adults and elders abandon them lol. He's actually still working and is CEO. He has one promotion left to the top of the business track and then I'll have him retire, might make him still get one of those little old people mini-jobs on the side too to supplement his pension. Teens can get those mini-jobs as well. The hours are shorter and pay of course is less, but it's something.

Well Mebyon is working his way up the slacker career ;D he's a golf caddy at the moment.
There was one funny thing where this bloke asked his advice for which club to use and because he hesitated something else happened, can't remember what now some business deal i think, and the bloke ended up giving him a huge tip ;D
I think he's now in charge of the golf shop or something, i do remember it saying something about him getting food while at work.

Just looked at those tut's, i can't decide whether to expand the house they are in or build a new one for them with a basement as well, thing is look what happened with the last house i tried to build ;D i just can't seem to keep them reasonably priced. I'm running out of room though, i already extended once but i don't have room for enough beds and cribs at the moment, i want Cali to try for a boy but as i've had the aging off Emma is still a toddler, well once i put it back and she becomes a child she will need a bed and i can't fit it in the room with two cribs and i can't rely on just one bed for three sims. What a dilemma eh Now if they were mega rich i could move them into the 224,000 house ;D

...erm, from personal experience, I think bunk beds would be your best bet...do they have those?

No They would be good, i don't know if you can stack the cheap wooden bed, it looks the right shape for it but i've never tried Besides the better the bed the less time they sleep so i'd rather have a decent one
