My sim has made friends with a little girl called Kana, she has since become friends with the rest of the family and i very much wanted to marry her off to Ben later on, but from what i've read you can't age townies and can't ask them to move in when they are children Now i don't know whether to make another family so i can engineer a future wife for him or wait till he grows up to find one, i just loved the idea of them being childhood sweethearts ;D This game is making me soppy The only other little girl is Jill Smith the Alien families daughter, my sim is friends with her mother but i wanted Kana

Hmmmm... Tough choice! Don't have Sims 2 (have had the original Sims for ages now but only started playing that about 3 weeks ago and can't afford the new one yet!) How difficult is it to manage a family? - Can you deal with another one? Nowt wrong with being soppy. Can you just wait for Townies (what exactly are they in the game anyway?) to age naturally?

Are well that's the probelm Townies don't age, they are random sims who do not live anywhere in the actual neighborhood, if they did you could just play their house for a while till they age. Cali's husband Victor was a Townie but as they are both adults she could ask him to move in with her. Managing two families is easy as you play one plot at a time, you will find that the friends you made in one house appear as friends in the other house, for example Cali is friends with Mebyon so whatever house i'm playing she or he can call the other one and invite them over, or they will ring up to speak to them as well. So if i made a family and waited for them to meet, either by the other sim randomly walking past the house or at a community lot, that's how my current two met, at the spa in strangetown, i could then get them to call and invite them over to build up the friendship Gosh look at time i should have left already see you later

Be patient, some people are working on an unofficial tool call SimPE. I've had some success with moving in and having townies grow up, but it's a bit glitchy right now but the guy is finding out more about how the file system works and releasing updates every other day. I am confident eventually a tool to easily age townies will be developed because A LOT of people want this! It was really stupid on this part not to allow for it. For the townie adults and elders there's no problem moving them in, but children and teens right now it's impossible although it's quite possible for a teen's first love and first kiss to be with a teen townie, then when they grow to an adult that sim may still think of their first love and have wants to interact with them but they will forever be a teen.

Somebody has done a tutorial on aging townies thesims2.ea.com/exchange/story_detail.php?asset_id=5023Too late for me to marry Kana to Ben as he's now with Josie but there's still Jess It seems simple enough so i don't think i'll mess my game up using that SimPe thing to do it.....i hope anyway

I have it and have used it to change names and such. Make sure you back up your neighborhoods directory first though (The one in My Documents/EA Games/Sims2)
