www.gogamer.com/cgi-bin/GoGamer.storefront/SESSIONID/Product/View/001SIMS2DGogamer has Sims2 for $34.99 US for the next couple of days on sale. By the time you factor shipping it probably doesn't make much sense for you Euro types, but for those of us in the US or Canada it's a pretty good deal. Right now I think the only one reading these forums here in the US that doesn't have it is Bravo though unless we have lurkers.

Anyway, I *might* get it one way or another some time, but I doubt I'll really get into it long...

Ugh I screwed up your post and lost most of it because I hit modify instead of delete. I always do that. Stupid board. Anyway here's my reply: Or so you think. It's highly addictive and lots of fun. there's a lot of different aspects too, house building, careers, family, friends etc. Todd Howard from Bethesda in a recent interview about Oblivion said the npcs will be like a combination of Sims and Ultima 7. I'm not sure I buy it, but it shows they've been playing it too.

It cost me that in pounds near enough, don't know the exchange rate so not sure if it's good or bad, it was the rrp anyway

Well I paid $50 US just to compare. Our money is a little higher than yours but your stuff ends up generally being more expensive once you do the exchange. It hurts my head to think about it. US dollars are closer to the Euro actually. IIRC the Euro starte out 1 to 1 to the US dollar, but now it's a little off.

...maybe when we get new boards, we should give you "special" powers that prompt you twice...
