Hiya! I've finally gone and paid some money for a proper website, which you can find here: www.perceptualmotion.co.ukI also have a new forum that is currently in testing there. I don't expect anyone to re-register (although you can if you like), but I'll figure out a way to register everyone from this site over to the new forum later. If anyone has suggestions (such as new categories, posts they would like copied to the new forum, etc, etc) then you can email me at: rob@perceptualmotion.co.uk admin@perceptualmotion.co.uk or of course the old email address: perceptualmotion@lycos.co.uk Thanks, Rob

Ok, I wasn't happy with the amount of work required to update the new website, so I had a look around ror some Content Management Systems (CMS). I finally decided on Xoops, which seems to be very comprehensive and has its own integrated forum (bonus as I only have one MySQL database to play with!)... Anyway, I'm in the process of adding content but there's enough there already for a sneak preview. www.perceptualmotion.co.ukAny feedback is much appreciated (I even set up a poll). Regards, Rob

I like it so far The Partners page will be handy for links to members sites, like Redwoodtreesprites MMRD for example, very useful place that The inbuilt forum looks nice, the icons are quite smart and easy to see. Since i got my new monitor the blue dots on this one don't seem as clear as before So when do we move? ;D

There were a few problems with the initial setup of the forum, which have now been fixed. You may have had problems accessing the forum between 11.00-15.30 GMT on 26/02/2005. You should now experience no further problems.
As it turned out, there was an updated version of the forum module available. I ran into a few difficulties when installing this new version (it didn't like the data already in the forum), but eventually fixed this by manually removing the offending data with phpMyAdmin.
There may be a few posts lost, but fortunately the problems with version 1 of the forum were pointed out by Bravo 1 (thanks Bravo!) before there was anything vital in there. Version 2 seems much better anyway!

New update, ignore all previous posts we have changed our minds again, but then that's just how we are Perceptual Motion website is currently undergoing a makeover and we have been working on our new forum the last week which is why this place has been so quiet. The new forum can be seen here, it is still under construction but is almost ready, at such time as it is this one will be locked. perceptualmotion.co.uk/forum/index.php
