This is just a heads up really for anybody who goes to the official boards and happens to miss it. They are making some changes to the forum which will mean requesting a new password again. ThreadIn theory i think this means banned members can register again.........question is would they really want to though

If I go back there it will just be like The kind of changes they really should be making is stopping flames before they get out of hand POLITELY but firmly and not singling out some people while ignoring others. Honestly, they allow WAY too much drama to go on there and then get indignant when things finally get out of control as if they didn't see it coming.

;D very true. Like i said even if you could why bother it will only give you a headache from all those flames I think i've spent more time there since getting involved with M@HK than i ever did before, i only go to look for new stuff incase it might be useful for the mod, i very rarely post anything. See i can be quiet if i want to be ;D

Heh. I can't even change my email address in my profile over there. Everytime I try I get the "We cannot proceed" message. It might be nice if it told me WHY it can't proceed, but it doesn't I've tried it both with and without my firewall running. Same Problem.

Perhaps that's the real plan, if you don't have a valid email you can't get a new password so there blocking people changing them, it's really a cull as there's just too many members

Well, I used to comb esf daily to keep up with all the new mods that come out, but now, thanks to Telesphoros I no longer have to do that...so I rarely visit. There actually was a rare point in time when I would actually reply to n00bs with qs there, but that era has ended; the only forums I actually dedicated myself to on a regular (daily...might i say hourly... basis) is Perceptual for the reason that, well, you don't get 20million ppl asking the same thing over and over again, your post will almost always be answered, and though it seems we're not too well known, we still attract a wide variety of diverse and unique modders... ...egads, am I starting to sound like Rob? *runs away for fear of suffering an early death*

I crave feedback so much I'd register with a dead turtle if I thought people could chalk comments on it

Funny it really doesn't worry me, if there's a problem then of course i like to be told but once i've released something i'm no longer bothered about it, too busy thinking of the next thing ;D But then clothes don't generally need feedback anyway, i can see where your mods would benefit from it though as you find out what people would like to see in them

1. Bug reports 2. Imbalance issues 3. Conflicts 4. Improvements Thats the sort of Feedback I'm after. Mind you. I'd settle for "You walk on water" at a push My Kai Vampire Globe Script is 600 odd lines long. Each of the other 16 Globes scripts is about 400 odd lines long. Thats a lot of code to test. Things slip through unfortunately, and feedback can help me to fix and improve stuff.

I've had enough "feedback' to last a lifetime from that place thank you very much. heh. But with face replacers there's usually not much technical stuff to worry about, and I or the others who worked on it or friends who tested it privately all caught that stuff pretty much. The type of feedback we got was always opinions and you can't please everyone. Some people would get downright indignant about stuff. Like our Redguards, we got a of lot europeans (mostly continental types) and one Australian bitching about the African based Redguards which seems funny to me since Bethesda's were also based on people of African descent, just much lower quality, and no one complained to them. One person even said we were racist because they weren't as 'pretty' as the other races when there's a much more practical and less insidious reason for that, most of the caucasoid races were based on Rhedd's stuff, arathrax did the Redguards from scratch and he was more about realistic people than idealistic ones. The Australian, who not only emailed me, but also posted on the BB forum and probably posted on ES too and god knows where else, complained about the curly hair/short afro style. Well it's nothing Mod Squad outlandish and I'm sorry but I don't think your average Redguard in Morrowind can waltz into Nalcara the White's shop in Balmora and buy a bottle of Dark and Lovely relaxer. And don't get me started on Dark Elves. Some want blue, green, grey, ugly, pretty, in between, humanoid, elvish, glowing eyes, non glowing eyes, solid red eyes, just red irises, dark brownish blood red, bright fire engine red, etc etc.

Well it's gone, now we shall just have to wait and see if the new and improved one really is new and improved or the same old thing in a different package
