you also have to type :-
setdelete 1
This gets rid of it completely and stops it cluttering up the gameworld even if you can't see it. It also stops any scripts on that object from running.
Need trib to use that command though.

There's another trick, too. (Forgive me if I'm remembering this wrong.) If you just delete with the console, the person or object still takes up space in your savegame. After deleting, you can then type: setdelete 1 to make the removed person or object not be included in your savegame. What usually gets me isn't doubling, but discovering that crucual objects like stairways or doors are missing entirely. Then it's back to good ol' Jiub for me! I have Seyda Neen SO memorized!

Me too ;D I just tested something and a basket outside the customs office had suddenly become a closet

A closet? Hmm...the reality setting on your game seems to be a bit low I think - try moving the slider up a click or two from Discworld more towards Middle Earth, Cali

Perhaps it's that broken drum mod that's giving me trouble then BTW it's back to being a basket again, it's morphic field must have stabilized ;D
