I've heard tell that the 'Morrowind Enhanced' Utility (the one you have to run in order to use the X Enhanced Mods) includes the FPS Optimizer or something along those lines?
...it this true? If I run this, do I no longer need to optimizer to adjust viewdistance past the game slider's max?

I'd forgotten abot MWE, I'll try it now I've got Tribunal It doesn't include the FPS optimiser but it has an option to run it when MWE starts. Saves you a double click EDIT: Suitably festive avatar ;D

Is there a shortcut to datafiles also, or do I need to keep a shortcut to the MW launcher too?

To clarify: MWE can launch FPS Opt on start, but it still needs to be pointed to where the program is, I keep mine in my data files folder
