no problem Bravo...I'll crop the new one and slide it in tomorrow...need a better comp than the one I usually net about on for the task. I didn't notice the stray pixels, but I do notice more vibrant color in the gif version I think.
I've been Tim since I was born...and Passer since the compuserve 300 BAUD modem days, which may be before you were born, so either one works fine for me.

I think this would be a good place to 'name and shame' the forums that gave you the bum's rush! I have yet to get deleted by a forum, (although I once got a really hard time from the Dictionary forum, - full of tight ars*d school teachers, one objected to me making a 'joke' about the Americanisation of English. No, not spelt wrong!) - Good forum though as they are interested in all sorts of weird stuff like: What's the derivation of the English phrase 'He's a toe-rag'? Oops, it may be only a Brit phrase, it means he's not a very nice person at all. That is well so to get back on the rails: That banner from Brav really looks good, exactly as I'd pictured AB!

The helm of Tohan is outside my range...so no Arvil Bren spoiler for you there Cali...by the way...who is the they that say 'forewarned is forearmed'? Just remember when Arvil Bren says it this week that I do write pretty far ahead, he didn't steal it from you! I might edit it to say something like 'as my friend Calislahn would say...' though. Hmmmm. that would be rather freaky to read ;D And "they" are the people who say all those funny things, like when i was little and "they" used to say eating bread crusts will make your hair curly, i haven't eaten a crust since ;D Now if that one goes in i will know your copying me

I found the helm, as usual it was right in front of me all the time and i just couldn't see it ;D I'm getting new glasses next week so maybe that will help my future explorations

Thanks...but I probably deserved it...I come flying through...drop a link on their boards...disappear into the void...how do 'they' say it...easier to apologize than ask permission...
Way to go Cali...knew you would do it...what helm?

The fabled Helm of Tohan, it's from one of the official plugins and it's an adamantium helm but has a high enchantment value. Don't know what i will put on it yet as it's possible to put a constant effect enchantment on it. I shall wait until i'm certain of what effect i want first

I just loved that description of Ranis' recruitment style . . . . Join or Die:laugh4: I've even starting using a spear recently, an excellent beginners' weapon, due to its reach. Is Arvil thinking of progressing to heavy armor or would he rather stay with light and medium? No, don't answer that, I'll wait and see

I'm up to day 26 now, hopefully tomorrow i can get right up to date. I must say your game seems much more fun than mine ;D I did find the little shack near Gnaar Mok, i quite like the little island it's situated on i think it looks peaceful I don't know maybe your's seems more fun because it's unmodded so your really having to work for what you are doing, i have far to many items that could be construed as cheats, the games getting to easy and less fun. Perhaps it's time i left all that stuff at home, got myself a spear and moved to my own little shack ;D The fact that i just bought Ghorak Manor in Caldera is irrelevant

So what did you do to those nice orcs in there then? I liked them, ugly - but cute!

Ah well that's the thing, they moved out ;D It's a mod by Monica21 that lets you buy it, the only resident left is creeper and he's been moved to the basement There was an orc still in there though but he was from another mod i have installed, he can stay for now ;D

I think AB is the most fun I've had playing Morrowind since the very first time. I just went back to my (very old) roots...I used to play RPG's when they were done with pencils and papers and charts and a screen with the 'referee' hiding stuff that only he knew behind it. In those days there was a very nasty term that you never wanted to pick up; 'game mechanic'. One day I realized I was getting to be the ultimate 'game mechanic' of Morrowind. I would run around beating things up hand to hand to build up skill, so I could level up...period. No rhyme or reason. Now I have a note across the top of my monitor; 'there is a referee here, it just has to be you'. That referee is the guy that says 'I don't care if he can't see you, if you walk past him, up the stairs to his bedroom, and loot it, you are gonna get in trouble,' and similar unpleasantries. Among things I know would happen if I was the referee...someone conjuring a monster so they could soultrap it would get a very nasty surprise...'your spell has worked too well and opened a dimensional rift...golden saints are pouring through, and boy are they mad...this looks like the end of the world...what do you do next?'...dealing with a game mechanic was always a lot of fun in the old days.

You want to watch out for him, Cali. Never trust an orc who's family name is Nob ;D The partners mod is excellent, and if you use the MWSE follower option they're perfect, and not too unbalancing as they never have a higher level than you. Not too sure about some of the sound effects though Sorry, this has gone

I made Galad myself using that mod it was so easy as you just apply one of the three scripts, not that i use my companions anyway Which reminds me i forgot that Guar i found, oh well i'm sure he's happy enough roaming round Seyda Neen ;D As for the referee bit well i can see your point there, i did back out of a fight yesterday, i went into a tomb, somewhere in Sheogorad i can't rmemeber it's name, and this high elf was walking up the hallway, at first i thought he's a bit pale for a high elf then it registered just as he spotted me and started running it was a Vampire ;D So i legged it back up the stairs and out the door only to get hit from behind by a bloody cliff racer
