Here's the details from the thread: Ayse has done two nice textures that allows bamboo retextures. Here's her site with example pics: freett.com/varvarvar/mod/Downloads-ScreenShots.htmHere's my three retextures: I would like to also make small bamboo plants using the Flora_marshmerrow_01 and 02 nifs. They would be a very nice modder resource. What I need is for the leaf areas of these two meshes to be changed to have more area to handle the larger bamboo leaf area, and also those areas fixed to be able to handle alpha channels. And yes, to clarify, I'd like the original marshmerrow mesh altered to increase the leaf area and make it alpha enabled. ------------------------------------- My briefcase is almost worthless anymore. I need to get an email account with Fastmail I think, as they let you buy more bandwidth for their downloadable storage. But I can send the files if you need them, Regan . It's basically those two marshmerrow nifs that are on the construction set CD, and the leaf file downloadable from this page: freett.com/varvarvar/mod/Downloads-ScreenShots.htmWith these two plant alterations, and Brash's version with the small leaves, I should be able to put together a nice modder's pack, with a variety of trees and small bamboo plants.

I've got both the DDSs now, the Marshmerrow NIFs look OK, I'll make new 'leaf meshes' to accept the bamboo textures. Would you like them flat, sloping slightly, or curved to give a more natural look? I've got quite a few different species of bamboo in the garden, so I should get it looking quite convincing What about taller stems? It's only a few minutes work to scale up a shrubby mesh into a towering thicket

Curved sounds good. Taller stems sound great too. Thanks so much for doing this.

Well, 2 months later they're done, barring a bit of texture refinement The Marshmerrow leaves were individual meshes, so instead of enlarging them I've replace them with slighty curved planes. 4 models, 1 large, 2 small and some shoots - I've put them in Seyda Neen for testing purposes. Is there anything you'd like done a bit differently?

Did you have to restart or had you still got these despite your crash?
