I have just got a lycos account as my freespace has run out with my isp, but now i can't decide if i can be bothered to redo my site or just move it over to the new one. It's just lazyness really i would like to change it but i'd rather it just magically done itself. The program HeWhoWatches told me about looks good but is $400 near enough whereas my book cost me about £15. My enthusiasm is a bit thin at the moment perhaps i should wait until i feel a bit more like i can be bothered. I just can't be arsed about anything lately, maybe i need more chocolate

Let's just say I didn't pay for Macromedia. Or 3DSMax. Or Windows. There's a similar reason as to why I'm a freeware expert... not ever having money. I get by though.

Well, er.. I did pay £35 for a copy of Red Hat Linux 8, which I almost never use even though it's taking up a valuable 10GBs of space.
Let me think... Googling away as usual...
IMPORTANT EDIT!!!!
The file I had posted here contains a virus script called "six buttons from hell" - good thing I have F-Prot. Do NOT download 1st Page 2000 from evrsoft.

I found a freeware thing on download.com called HTML-kit it had good ratings but i still think i'll learn more if i do it myself.
I tried using the site catcher thing to just move mine over but it didn't work so i shall have to do it manually for now then i can build a new one in my own time.

Yeah I have F-prot...but the only thing that makes me mad is that the bloody thing keeps popping up...it tells you, you close the window and it's back in the next 5 secs...oh yeah, all clap for me, yesterday I stopped my first virus by myself! YAY! (I found that safe mode is QUITE handy!)

Yeah, my admin used to have to come down and stop 'em all...but overall, I highly reccommend F-PROT and Ad-aware 6...(anti virus and anti spywar respectively)....
I bet sandbagger will come on with a snappy comment on how rare mac viruses are...bag it sandbagger... ;D

Well done Bravo, you done good... F-Prot won't allow the system to access virused files. Accessed in this case means if it's opened, copied / moved, properties, etc. That's why it keeps popping up - it's saving your arse! Cali, downloading that HTML-Kit now, it's homepage is: www.chami.com/html-kit/I mention that because there seem to be plugins, but you may need to register or suchlike.

AHA! So that's why...well it popped up when I tried to del the enemy .exe, and that's when restarting in safe mode hit me...like a brick, I was actually on the phone with sandbagger about a game when the virus hit, if you ask him my words were along the lines of I HAVE YOU NOW and GIVE UP REBEL....in retrospect it was rather funny... ;D... (WOW, what a total star wars nerd!)

My sisters cats called chewbacca, my brother in laws idea I'm an original star wars fan because i'm old and saw it at the cinema in the seventies, i thought luke skywalker was cute but as i got older i changed to Han Solo I had a friend who's room was full of star wars stuff, i think her parents had wanted a boy, wasn't a girlie thing in her room.

Oooo, I think I'll open all of my ports, disable my firewall, and start downloading things at random and see if I get a virus ;D
