There's other channels on the stereo Also you can drop your own mp3s in My Documents/EA Games/Sims2/Sound/Music/(Salsa/Pop/etc..) and the game will pick them up. You can pick which songs you want it to play and which ones you don't from the audio portion of the options menu. I haven't figured out how to add a new channel for the radio (I do know how to do it for tv though) but I dropped all the spooky sounds in metal and disabled playing of all the regular sim metal tunes since I never listen to that station.

Well the twins are now toddlers and Jess is wearing the little dungarees outfit i originally bought for Ben, he's a little carbon copy of Ben , whereas Kim looks just like Emma and Louise Minus the big lips and ginger hair ;D So just goes to show my sim must be partly responsible for how the girls look, it's not all the dad. And despite trying the others i think i've got so used to that Salsa music i put it back again ;D Nothing else seemed right.

Oh gosh they did change their stuff and they just changed it already before that yesterday or the day before. They usually don't rotate free content for a few days but I guess they have more time on weekends, they did the same thing last weekend. Well you are right there's lots of underwear now, although a good bit of it is PDS style stuff. There's also a lot of stuff there, particularly hair, eyes and makeup, of the type Arathrax used to call "circus freak colors". But there was a couple of guy things and old lady things there so I'm happy. I had just finished browsing through the newest 1,000 packaged sims at the official site too when I found out simsresource changed it's free stuff again so of course I had to go look through all that too and download a good bit of it because who knows if or when it will ever be free again?

Well i only took the stylish undies not the other sort, i got a nice pink set and another one that was in two different shades so i downloaded both, all those ones with suspenders and thongs and whatnot i left alone. I wanted something prettier than what comes with the game but not so it looks like something from a fetish store ;D My twins aged, but i didn't save it as i screwed up with kim, i forgot to play with her first like i did with Jess to get her aspiration up also they are both wearing the same pj's so i think a trip to the store before they age to get some new clothes is in order. Now Jess and Ben look like the twins but Ben only has another day till he's a teenager so it's not too bad. The genetic blending is good in one way but it makes them all carbon copies of eachother, i wish it would take just random aspects and shuffle them a bit each time, might end up with a kid that looks like a picasso that way though ;D Also Kim had that scruffy short hair, i don't like it, i want her to look cute and girly not tom boyish I'm just full of complaints tonight aren't i ;D

Well with the kids luckily you can change their clothing and hair easily enough, unlike the toddlers, so it's not as big of a deal. I've noticed people complaining that their kids all look alike, but I haven't really run into that problem because other than the twins, I don't think I have any two kids who are full siblings. Blanche has 3 children all with different fathers lol! And one kid, Tina, has a Black (well dark skinned, but his features are more like an ES forum style Redguard) father in Armando and appears black, but she has a white appearing half sister from Armando and Blanche and an Asian appearing half brother from her mother (who is white) and the Asian man she was married to before Armando. haha. If you want different looking kids, have an affair with the mailman while your husband is at work.

Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually i think that would be a hard thing to do, they are both family aspiration sims so a lot of their fears have to do with the marraige breaking up or getting caught cheating. I think i got a little confused about kids appearance, i know they can use the dresser but because they can't use mirrors for charisma i thought it meant they can't use mirrors full stop. So if Kim has that hairstyle again i can change it, that's good to know

Well there's always adoption too, two of Chris' sims adopted 4 kids and my Mike and Chris ones well, I think I lost track lol. If nothing else, it makes for more genetic diversity. Actually once the generations get going though there should be some more diversity. All newly created sims have duplicate alleles (blond/blond or brown/brown etc) but their children will have mixed ones and when they have children with other people carrying reccessive genes some of those recessive traits may start showing up. You can actually do this a bit in create a sim too as you can make two sims, make a child between them, age the child to adult and then delete the parents. I did that with my breeding family lol. So the man Kay is married has dark hair, but is carrying a recessive blond gene (from Sim Cali! He was genetically engineered from her DNA and that of another sim lol)

Oy! stop experimenting with my DNA ;D For some reason i've suddenly got the urge to make a park community lot, the idea just came to me as i was driving home just now looking at all the trees with their pretty autumn colours on It would be a nice place to go on my sims day's off work. I spent about 2,000 on clothes just for the kids earlier just wait till i get to mum's that will probably be twice as much ;D

Park's are nice for community lots. I think there already is one in Pleasantview, and I downloaded one someone else made and put it in Veronaville because I was lazy . Oh and yes those clothes add up fast.

Well the park looks quite nice but it needs a lot more lighting, it's too dark at night. I need more swings as well, because a fight broke out between a couple of teenage sims over it ;D I've called it Headstone park because the plot is near that weird head shaped rock, it was only after i'd named it i realised it sounds more like a cemetary I shall post some pics in a minute

Haha, lol I was going to say you should put some tombstones there, but you can only get them from people dying and I don't think people can die in community lots. Speaking of Sims dying, Lisa got her ass killed making a grilled cheese sandwich today and then Chris came home with the flu. Not a great sim day. And how someone with 10 cooking skill can set themselves on fire making something as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich is beyond me. I was out front greeting people when suddenly I heard the fire alarm go off. I did have Sharlene plead for her life, but they weren't very close friends so her chances were low and she lost. The funny thing is, although I had never invited Lisa to move in, she decided to move herself in and when the nanny van came for her at the end of her shift a couple of sim weeks ago, she just ignored it and never left. At least she behaved better than Sharlene when she wouldn't leave, Lisa would at least bathe and use the bathroom (most of the time ) and sleep in a bed, but she should have stayed away from that darned stove. The nanny van was still out there waiting for her even after she died and I put her tombstone out back so I had to use the cheat mode and delete the darned thing. Had to do the same thing with that burnt grilled cheese sandwich too since it was stuck on the stove and although I would tell sims to get it, they couldn't for some reason.

Honestly these nannies are more trouble than they are worth ;D Sophie's starting to degrade, maybe the longer you have them the more senile they become I might make my girl quit work when she hits General, that's her next rank, i'll let her earn some of the money first though, then when she has the next baby she can be home to look after it

I know, but I like them because they are highly unpredictable and perversely amusing. Might not be a bad idea to quit work for a while. If get a job again using the computer you can start back at a higher level if you have the skills instead of just level 1 all over again, so that won't be so bad. Just make sure you get your job back before you become an elder or you won't be able to retire.
