For all console commands press the tilde (~) key found above the tab key (on my keyboard anyway!). This will activate the console and you can type in any of the following 'cheats' :
There are lots more, and I can add some if there's interest. I realise many of you have been using these console commands for a long time, but for those that may not have done, here's an example of their application:
Bring down the console and "coc location" [without quotes]. Takes you straight to your location. Noting your currentl speed value, enter "player->setspeed 500" [also without quotes] (where 500 is your speed x10). This will make getting to places a bit less painful. Why times 10? It's easier to set back when you reach where you're going!
Equally, you could use player->setstrength xxx, if you were doing a dungeon quest and ran out of inventory room.
Any thoughts on these or other commands? Feel free to add any you routinely use!
Yes, it's cheating, but you're only testing a mod so it doesn't matter! (Just make sure you don't erase over any autosaves you want!) ;D
- coc placename - This will take you to an exterior, so places like Balmora, Seyda Neen, etc.
- tgm - godmode. Use if you can't be bothered dying.
- tai - turn off creature ai. Now they won't try to kill you.
- tcl - turn off clipping, or as I like to call it, walk through walls.
- player->additem "itemname" quantity - add a quantity of a particular item to your inventory. E.g. player->additem "gold_100" 1000 would give you 1000 gold.
- player->setabilityname quantity - Sets a particular stat to a given value. E.g. player->setspeed 500 would set speed to 500.
