...and Greece wins, 1-0....France got whipped! (no offense to the French) ...oh well, it's that season, a few weeks ago the Pistons beat the Lakers (talk about underdogs) and now Greece beats France, but the true q is how far will they make it?

Well, that was ..... interesting!
Wait 'til Carnajo comes online. Greece played like men possessed. Hellas, Hellas! ;D
BTW, when I said 55 minutes to the kick-off I was exactly one hour out. The game had already started! I'm not really with it am I? ;D

Yay, go Greece! =) Can't say I'm sorry to see the back of the French - but then I am English, and France has been England's natural enemy since about the 11th century Oh, and nice ironic emoticon use there Bravo - a guillotine for the French! A choice worthy of a true footy fan in its historical iconic significance ;D

Why thank you! ...yes, now it seems that Greece has ended Frances' "Reign of Terror" ...hmm, if one of the players was named Robespierre...:laugh4: ...ok, ok, bad jokes aside; (speaking of bad jokes, the Americans take the cake...I mean really, FREEDOM FRIES!? )

...well, there was Victory Cabbage a while back... ...and anyway aren't the grapes in French wine from California anyway (some while back when the French wine crops were massacred by something...an angry ancestor of Bush?) ...ok, please stop before I start expressing feelings about Bush...

Just got home now, couldn't sleep so I thought I'd pop in, guess you guys beat me to it! Well, one more can't hurt : Hellas, Hellas! Or, Gia tin Ellada re Ga***o! Yep, was an excellent game, even if I say so myself. Yep, we beat the champions (now ex-champions), who were also favourites to win. Woot Woot! ! ! ;D ;D ;D ;D P.S. Bravo, you could always check www.uefa.com/ for updates and news. Now, South Africa just has to beat the Welsh in tomorrow's Rugby.

Portugal have made it through to the finals! Beat Holland 2-1 and Holland didn't even get one goal!
This is not one of those IQ test questions but it is in fact, true! ;D

Carnajo. Greece has made it through to the final against Portugal! The best result according to the Portuguese commentators, maybe they think that Portugal can beat them? ;D
