Can't say i've noticed coffee doing much, other than making them pee more ;D Does the espresso do more than the normal one? I haven't used it because they have to make it each time and that takes longer, i find it so frustrating the time that gets wasted doing silly things when it goes by so quickly, the delivery guys really bug me I usually go to a community lot and buy it myself where possible now.

No the espresso isn't any better though you would think it should be. Also when they are done with the espresso cups, they for some reason must put them on an end table, they won't put them on a counter, kitchen table, the floor or even a "coffee table", it has to be an end table. In my house the only free ones are in the bedroom so they always go all the way up there and then back down when they are done. The delivery people are also annoying, agreed. Someone made a buyable pizza item to avoid the delivery guy. The file's here: daydream.etowns.net/objects/Sims2/SEDD_mailbox.zipThey also have a buyable trash can and mailbox added too since some people had a bug that made them dissappear. The items aren't in the regular section but in a custom collection.

Thanks, that's handy I don't know where Kim is putting her homework lately, i can't find it. I think it's the invisible homework bug thing. Last time it happened when she did actually put one down she had a pile of them where they had built up And i'm getting that jumping thing too not too bad yet but it's started. I hope they get a patch out soon, there's quite a few bugs in this game

Someone said in their game the homework dissappearing was related to the newspapers and how once you have a few unrecycled old newspapers, they won't deliver anymore. Chris had the problem though and it wasn't related to the newspaper as he always recycled his. Anyway if you have a maid or even the nanny they usually do it. I noticed one time when I was moving one of my girls' homework downstairs to put on the floor, it seemed to dissappear when I hovered it over this one particular square, but then when I looked closer, it was there but the game placed it on top of the chandelier that was hanging on the ceiling! :laugh4: I've had quite a few bugs, but thankfully all stuff I can live with nothing showstopping yet. I DO have the jump bug, but it's not to the point where they won't eat...yet. I can't throw parties anymore though which REALLY stinks for popularity sims.

Don't know if this is another bug or what but my sims will no longer sit at one of my dining chairs, if i get one to serve food they put a plate at each of the six places but a sim will go to that plate pick it up and then sit in another chair This then means the sim who wants that plate has to pick it up and move to another chair. It's getting like a game of musical chairs I haven't tried to replace the chair yet, i think i will try that later and see what they do then They used to use it though

I noticed mine doing that sometimes too when they use to do it. I guess you can just cancel out the person serving once they put the serving dish down and just have everyone get their own food and find a place to sit.

I have a question for you Motoki, seeing as you know the history of sims 1, who the hell is this Bella Goth everybody goes on about and why are they all trying to find her Or is she just a sims 2 thing and i'm misunderstanding it all (that wouldn't surprise me ;D) Is she meant to be in strangetown then? because if so i shall have to keep my eye out for her, for all i know i've already seen her and didn't know it I occasionally look at the sims forum and i keep seeing her name crop up, she seems to be a sort of famous sim.

I read something in the pop-up when I looked at Mortimer Goth. It look like she left him, he bumped her off, she died, or something? No doubt Mo will enlighten us!

lol @ Tom Jones ;D Bella, Mortimer and Cassandra goth were in the first sims but they were younger. Some others are related to people in the first sims too, basically there was one town in it which is known as Pleasantview right now. The deal with Bella is, she's a romance sim She was having an extramarital affair with Don Lothario (the town male whore who incidentally was also sleeping with Bella's daughter Cassandra). One night she gazed through his rooftop telescope and was abducted by aliens and has not been seen since. On the same evening she disappeared, the Caliente sisters, Dina and Nina, arrived in town. Their father was half alien and their grandfather (well one of them!) was the Pollination Technician #7. The game seems to hint that they had something to do with Bella's disappearance which makes sense as Dina is a gold digging fortune sim who first married Bella's brother Mike Bachelor who subsequently died a mysterious death, and then when the game starts she's got her sites set on Bella's husband Mortimer. Now Bella Goth sightings supposedly have been rumored in Strangetown. Her picture is actually on the intro screen for the town. SUPPOSEDLY, you can find her. She's supposed to be a townie but VERY difficult to find, so much so that no one has claimed to have found her yet without a hack (her character file does exist in Strangetown) so if you see her lol you'll be the first person to do so, but let me know if you do. Try checking online too.

Well i'm still not sure that i didn't already, reason being my aunt is called Bella and i still feel that i saw a sim named that and thought oh a Bella, but i can't trust my bruised brain at the moment so i shall just have to keep an eye out for her. I got rid of that funny chair but i had to use the moveobjects cheat, it said i couldn't delete an object in use, i must have had the invisible man for dinner or something because i certainly couldn't see anybody sitting there ;D Also another odd thing happened, like i said above i made this new family but i hadn't actually put them in a house yet, they were still in the family bin. Well Kim brought Ryan home from school how could she do that if he wasn't yet in the game, i've never seen the others in the family bin turn up anywhere This game sure does odd things at times ;D

I've had people in the family bin come home with one of my sims from work or school or walk by on the street. You just can call them though (they need cell phones!). I consider that they are in a hotel or something while they look for housing.

I saw your thread about housing Motoki, all i can say is looking at those pictures i hope i was the welcome wagon and not the prostitute forums.thesimsresource.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=66513Just a guess but i suppose she's the one without a shirt under her coat ;D I haven't played mine for a week or so, i will probably go back to them at some point but my family seems to be a bit boring at the moment as i'm pretty much just waiting for the kids to grow so everyday is the same I'ts funny but i actually like them when they are first starting out, once mundane family life sets in i start getting bored. Once the kids become adults though i get to start again building up a home and career from scratch, that's the fun bit for me I suppose i could age them faster using elixir couldn't i

No you aren't the prostitute, lol, yet I find though that either you or Meb or both are almost always in the welcome wagon at any given house. I guess you just like welcoming the neighbors. And yes, she's the one with no shirt on under her coat, how'd you guess? ;D Her "bathing suit" looks strikingly like the PDS shoelace outfit. I'll have to post some pictures of that too. I find I have SO many houses going on that when I get bored with one, I just go play another. All the families are at various stages but a lot are at the begining stage and are in starter homes.

What do you mean, yet! I've actually noticed that i always turn up in the welcome wagon at other houses on my game too ;D It's very handy if it's a family i wanted to get to know anyway.
